MONDAY YOGA PRACTICE

Session: Yoga
Location: Exeter Community Centre, 17 St. Davids Hill, Exeter, EX4 3RG
Time: Mondays (6:45-8pm)
Cost: £3 per session

Yogi’s should be Exeter Tri Club Members (please bring membership card as proof). If you have a yoga mat please bring that along to the session. Each member should complete a registration form prior to attending the session. To book your session please use the following click here. Max 16 people.

Location: Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, Commercial Rd, Crediton EX17 1ER
Time: Mondays (8:30-10pm)
Cost: £3 per session

Swimmers should be Exeter Tri Club members. 1 hour session with an optional extra 30 minutes. Swimmers should bring a drink, and if you have them a kickboard, pullbuoy, fins and paddles. T-shirts are also required from January – May. It is advisable to arrive 10-15 minutes before start of session to ensure a place. Max 24 people.

Commences Tuesday 8th October 2019
Time: Tuesdays (Session 1: 7.40-8.25pm, Session 2: 8.30-9:15pm)
Cost: £3 per session

Meet in the Sports Centre’s main reception at 10 minutes before session starts and bring a drink, a towel, cycling clothing, and trainers or SPD (mountain bike-style) shoes. Each session will focus on areas such as cadence, endurance, pacing, and hill-climbing. A warm-up will be followed by a led session. Spaces are limited so you must sign up beforehand to guarantee a place. There are now eighteen spin bikes for us to use as well as room for some turbos and bikes if you wish to bring your own. This session is suitable for all abilities and is guaranteed to make you sweat!

Session: Open water swim
Location: Teignmouth Lighthouse Car Park
Time: Tuesdays 6.30pm registration (6:15pm September)
Cost: £3 members, £6 non-members.

Members meet at the Lighthouse car park at the end of the beach next to the mouth of the Teign Estuary for registration and compulsory safety briefing.Swimmers have a choice of three or four groups led by experienced sea swimmers and followed by lifeguards from the surf club on rescue boards. The more experienced group usually swim 2000-2500 metres, while novice swimmers do skill work and short distances.Please arrive in good time to change into your wetsuit and register before the start of the session.Non-members can swim on up to two occasions as a trial before joining our club. Visiting members to the area from other triathlon clubs are welcome.For any sea swim enquires please contact Rob Moore.

Strength and conditioning session workouts incorporates 16-18 exercises aimed at endurance athletes to maintain fitness, improve power and prevent injuries. Commencing 7th November onward.

Location: Exeter Arena, Summer Lane, Exeter
Time: Fridays 6-7.30pm

Held throughout the year, these sessions are considered by many as the best track sessions in the Region. After a group warm-up the athletes split into two or three groups, each with a coach. In summer the sessions are all based on speed-endurance work, while in winter they focus on endurance-speed or strength endurance. Specific track sessions are added throughout the year to focus on specific aspects. Rob’s turbo/run sessions have gained a certain notoriety in reaching the parts that the usual sessions don’t get to!
