Exeter Triathlon Club Constitution

Our constitution is a set of fundamental principles that the club is based on.

It covers our aims and objectives, defines our membership how we are to operate, the make up of the committee. It can be amended at the January Annual General Meeting or a Specially called Extra General Meeting (details within the Constitution). Any questions over this document should be forwarded to the club secretary.

GDPR Update

This guidance only applies to members of the club, there will be a further communication to any event entrants – these are separate.

As a club we obviously hold an amount of data on individuals for the purposes of membership only, it is not distributed to other organisations. When joining the club we all submit the information required to process our membership and this is held by the club, the lawful basis for us holding this information is our legitimate interest, for instance emergency contact information. Our existing privacy policy covers this and is available on the website

Due to our membership process, we will not be asking for your specific consent, we already have a robust process in place.

The new regulations are designed to protect individuals and the BTF have also provided some wording for the regulations if there is any uncertainty.
